Sydney started her career in the beauty industry with one thing in mind - customer service - it’s where she shines and remains her top priority!
Sydney started as an apprentice at age 21, after realizing all the opportunities that were in the field, under David Dior of D’ Allens Salon. She credits him for teaching her a lot about the business side of the salon world. It wasn’t long before she took a leap of faith and opened her first small space in Phenix City, after seeing a need for this type of business in her hometown. A year after that opening, she purchased the spot that is now SSOB’s forever home located on Opelika Road.
Sydney has two lively little girls, Jules and Jennings, that keep her busy, and a husband, Christopher, that proudly serves in the US Airforce Band of the West. When she is not working, you can find her spending time with her family, doing all the outdoor things, eating and shopping locally, and listening to good music!
“The old saying goes “do what you love, and you will never work a day in your life”, and I couldn’t agree more. Being a stylist/owner has brought all my passions to life. I can serve customers whom I love dearly in a space that I decorated and designed piece by piece from anywhere you can think of, ranging from secondhand stores - to Anthropologie - to Target. I get to create beautiful hair and help customers feel as pretty on the outside as they are on the inside; but also I get to develop close bonds, from doing first haircuts to styling hair for senior prom (those are the happy moments) - to shaving ahead before the chemo takes all of her hair. I build strong relationships with some amazing women and families. Isn’t that what life is all about?! I am strong in my faith. God made me a “people person” and this job gives me the opportunity to exercise my gift daily. How awesome is that ?!”

Tish unofficially joined The Sydney Brand when Sydney and her husband, Chris, married - Chris and Tish are family. She got to know Sydney on a personal level through family gatherings and really wanted to be a part of the brand that Sydney so passionately cares about. “This girl loves her business, loves her team, and loves her clients. Those are the entrepreneurs that I enjoy working with; the ones who create and design the world they want around them. I just wanted to be a small part of her world.”
Thrilled to have someone capable within arms reach, Sydney approached Tish to help open and manage the Event Suite. She was thrilled to be a part of Sydney's Brand and is also assisting with all things Blow Dry Bar in Downtown Columbus - Sydney's next venture.
Tish is a business professional with more than two decades of experience in business administration, client services, project management, and coordination with major corporations as well as entrepreneurial startup ventures. She has the knowledge, experience, and skills to define an approach that combines client needs with team goals.
Professionally, Tish dedicates her time to encourage leadership and providing support for the team. Personally, she enjoys reading, journaling, setting goals, and time spent with her husband, two sons, and two dogs that fill her time with movies, sports, big family events... and lots of coffee.

Tiffanie joined The Sydney Brand in the summer of 2020 and is passionate about helping women entrepreneurs (especially mom bosses) STAND OUT!
Tiffanie has used her IT background to consolidate Sydney’s service provider accounts by redesigning our online footprint. She is responsible for expanding our online presence through a redesigned website, booking site, and product store, as well as the design and management of email marketing for The Sydney Brand. And we are thrilled to have her on our team to help us stay on brand to serve our community best.

Meet Kayla! In 2014 she quit her waitressing job to pursue her love for photography full time. That’s right! She's a self-taught lifestyle photographer who specializes in family sessions and mini sessions. By becoming a full-time photographer, Kayla has documented timeless moments full of emotion and happiness! Though she is rooted in Newnan, GA, Kayla will travel!
Kayla Duffey joined The Sydney Brand in 2020 and couldn’t be any more thrilled to jump on board with such a like-minded entrepreneur who is so passionate about her business and her community! Kayla says, "Sydney is truly one of kind! She will encourage you to be a better person and to reach for the stars from the very first time you meet her!"

Angela Copeland has been a client of Sydney’s Shoppe of Beauty since 2013 and has often considered herself to be an honorary “Sydney’s Girl at Heart.” She officially joined The Sydney Brand in 2021 as the shoppe’s Bridal Coordinator.
Angela is looking forward to working with our bridal parties to make sure they have a seamless experience on their Big Day.
Professionally, Angela is a full-time teacher at Smiths Station Junior High School where she teaches Career Exploration and enjoys encouraging young people.
Personally, Angela enjoys shopping, crafting, cooking, wedding planning, and spending time with her husband Bubba, son Carter, two daughters AbbyKate and Ally that fill her time with family projects, Netflix, cooking together... and lots of Diet Coke and dry shampoo.
CRYO COOL TECHNICIAN
Dannielle is a client turned partner of Sydney. She was born & raised locally. Dannielle has a handsome husband named Joshua & a sweet little boy named Hudson, both adore her!
Dannielle attended the Zeltiq Institute in Reston, VA where she was officially certified in Cryopolosis Therapy. She has completed over 500 successful treatments since 2016. Cryo Therapy, “Cryo” for short, is a huge passion for Dannielle.
Cryo Cool with Dannielle is a completely NON-INVASIVE solution to Fat Reduction without the surgical risks. Fat cells freeze at a higher temperature than other tissues, including skin and muscle. When frozen for a sustained amount of time (30 minutes), the fat cells die in a natural process called apoptosis. Meanwhile, the surrounding tissues remain unaffected.
